Once again I welcome you to UNMEB new online face of the year 2020. By visiting UNMEB website, you make UNMEB communication cycle complete.
As UNMEB continues to deliver its mandate, quality assurance has remained top priority. The Board has strengthened examinations management using the feedback and experiences gained especially in the following areas; Improvement of assessors’ skills, Strengthening the practical skills assessment area and engagement of Information Technology solutions in assessment.
I continue to commend the contributions by all stakeholders especially Ministry of Education and Sports, Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council, Directorate of Industrial Training, Sister Examination Boards, Directorate of Education Standards, Health Training Institutions (Public, Private and not for profit), Uganda Police, Board members among others. My appreciation is also directed towards USAID Intra-health, “Strengthening Human Resources for Health” Program for considering UNMEB worth your support.
I especially thank Secretariat staff for never ending efforts accorded to UNMEB improvement and quality service delivery. It is your team spirit that has supported UNMEB to achieve its Vision, Mission, Goal and Objectives.
The Board will continue to ensure quality assessment to support the strengthening of Human Resources for Health, “A vision that is shared by all stakeholders”.
