CHANGES IN MANAGEMENT OF PROMOTIONAL EXAMINATIONS

The board shall implement new measures in management of promotional examinations in order to monitor curriculum implementation and adherence to examination regulations,

1.  Promotional examinations data will be uploaded onto UNMEB Examinations Management Information System (EMIS). This will facilitate validity and reliability of results. Easy identification, sorting and provision of performance timely feedback to health training institutions will be assured.

2. All Centre Supervisors (Principal from other institution) will be availed with a copy of the student’s album to facilitate presentation of eligible candidates at each examinations centre.

3. All sitting students will be availed with examinations cards as proof of eligibility to sit for those examinations Schedule.

All stakeholders are encouraged to adhere to examinations regulations. The board’s regulations to capture the conduct of promotional examinations and amendment of any other sections deemed necessary. The review process is participatory and it involves key stakeholders.
